Photography is an incredible, never-ending journey of self-discovery…

With each new location, be it local or half a world a way, there is that sense of Experience and Discovery.

With each image, there is the challenge of capturing the subject not just in a technically-perfect way, but also to correspond with how I see it, and how I’d like to remember it later.

And with each different camera and lens, there is the ongoing battle of wits to best-understand the onboard settings that sometimes help, and other times confound!

I will always therefore see Photography as a journey with no end.

A challenge that combines weather, light and subject to achieve an outcome that is satisfying to view over and over again.

It is also about being in the moment, and remembering to actually experience the time and place that is the present….
