Welcome to my Journey
Photography has been a hobby bordering on the obsessive since I first held a film camera in my youth.
Be it for work or holiday, every journey around Australia or internationally features at least two cameras and a large bag of lenses and filters!
Some say that I am a Travel Junkie - and that may well be the case, but it’s as much about recording the world the way that I see it, and then wanting to share those images through my own interpretation.
Here then, is a bit of a snapshot of how I see the world around me….
A world in focus…
In 2024, I am leaving the industry of Commercial Furniture after having spent 40 years committed to helping clients improve their posture and minimise back-pain by creating new chair designs, and will instead be working alongside one of Melbourne’s leading professional photographers - Michael Evans (www.michaelevansphotographer.com) - in a new project once again designed to help people.
World In Focus has been created to not only help beginner and intermediate photographers understand and improve their camera, composition and post-processing skills, but to also offer local and international workshops for photographers at all levels to visit locations of optimal interest and challenge.
Additionally, our ‘Lane To Frame’ Foundation is a program that aims to generate funds from photography, to assist the plight of the homeless.
