‘Photo Art’ is an aspect of post-photography which gives me great satisfaction.
The ability to transform an image that I have captured and basically repurpose it into a stylised, painterly composition that gives it a new life where the interpretation can be far removed from that of the original photo.
It has the additional benefit of then becoming a truly original outcome, no matter how many millions of time that location may have been captured by other photographers….
